Crawler and Source Monitoring Policy

WorkHelp checks selected public, official and permitted sources to discover jobs, results, policies, schemes and public-interest updates. It identifies itself as WorkHelpSourceMonitor/2.0 and links to this policy.

Responsible access

Before automated access, WorkHelp checks the source's robots instructions and recorded terms status. A blocked, uncertain or automation-inaccessible source is not bypassed. Each source has its own request limit, timeout, retry policy, schedule and maximum page count.

Efficient monitoring

When supported, WorkHelp uses ETag and Last-Modified headers to avoid downloading unchanged content. Checks are staggered and may be deferred when the service is busy. Repeated failures use backoff instead of aggressive retries.

Review and attribution

Discovered records retain the source URL, check time and change evidence. Uncertain, secondary or discovery-only information stays in the admin review queue. WorkHelp does not claim government affiliation, and users should confirm important details on the linked official source.
